Pan Seared Chicken Pieces

These chicken thighs are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.  They are cooked on top of the stovetop instead of in the oven, this way they’re crispy on all sides.  The family is going to love these!!

 

Ingredients

Chicken Thighs

2 TBSP Olive Oil

2 Garlic Cloves

Salt

Pepper

 

Instructions

Trim all the excess fat from the Chicken Thighs and sprinkle with salt and pepper

Add olive oil to pan and saute garlic, just until golden brown

Put the thighs skin side down in heavy pot with cover

 

Cook the thighs for 8-10 minutes on medium low heat covered.  Turn and brown on other side for an additional 8-10 minutes covered.  Check the temperature on the thighs to make sure the internal temperature is 180º.

Serve immediately. 

 

Note:  You can use any chicken pieces for this recipe, not just thighs.
