There are so many things that go on in our day-to-day lives that warrant a post.  Besides the big stuff like weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and births, all the little things also have a huge impact on my days, weeks and months.  So there is no better time to start documenting the year than January.

2016 is going to be a great year! I can feel it.  On New Year’s Eve, I am one of those people who make resolutions and a long list of all the things i want to accomplish in the coming year.  I am also the one who eats 12 grapes at midnight, wears red underwear and eats pork on New Year’s Day, but that’s another story.  This year, I didn’t make any lists or resolutions. The only thing that I resolved to do is anything that I start, I will finish.

Now, there are plenty of things that I have finished throughout the years, but there are those projects that got interrupted and I never returned to.  Last year, I started crocheting a blanket for my granddaughter that I haven’t completed.  That is definitely the first project that I will finish before I tackle anything else.  Now, I do have lots of projects in mind that I want to get to this year, but this will be first.  I will let you know how it’s coming.

I hope you stay with me for the year and together we can make 2016 great.

Let’s get started.
